ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Centennial, Colorado.

\nRN - PCU Float Pool Stepdown
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
\n• Float within a 60-mile radius zone with no home base facility
\n• Required to work 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
\n• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3-4 dependent on acuity
\n• Must have 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
\n• Prior neuro experience preferred
\n• Epic experience preferred
\n• Must have experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan
\n• Must be comfortable titrating and managing cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin
\n• Common titratable drips include dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, amio, ativan, insulin, and heparin
\n• May float to various acuity levels including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele
\n• 1-2 days orientation with a preceptor
\n• Any color scrubs allowed
\n• Schedule made by leadership for 6 weeks at a time
\n• Expected to be flexible and fill gaps in permanent scheduling
\n• Time off requests must be submitted prior to starting assignment
\n• May be asked to enter holiday rotation
\n• Rare call or standby requirements for low census
\n• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
\n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC
\n• Colorado nursing license required

The organization utilizes Epic charting systems and maintains modern equipment including respiratory therapy support with vents, CPAP, and BiPAP capabilities.
