Hospice Home Health Registered Nurse – Job Summary

Shift: Days, 5x8 (08:00–16:30) or 4x10 (08:00–18:30) – 40 hours/week
Start Dates: 12/15 or 12/29

Position Overview:
The Hospice Home Health RN provides compassionate, patient-centered care in a home-based hospice setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and the ability to deliver end-of-life care while supporting both patients and families.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience (3+ preferred)
• Travel Experience: At least 1 completed travel assignment required
• Licensure:
  • Active state RN license or compact license
  • Pending licenses not accepted
  • Must comply with NLC guidelines
• Certifications: BLS (must remain valid for entire contract)
• Flu Vaccine: Required – No exemptions accepted
• COVID Vaccine: Not required
• Charting: Cerner experience preferred
• First-time travelers: Not accepted
• Locals: Not accepted ( must live 100+ miles away)

Scheduling & On-Call:

• Shift Options:
  • Mon–Fri, 8:00–16:30
  • Mon–Thu, 8:00–18:30
• On-Call: As needed
• Weekend Coverage: As needed
• Holiday Requirement:
  • If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s fall within assignment → RN must work 2 of the 3
  • If 2 fall within assignment → must work at least 1
