We are looking for an experienced Cargo Van Driver to serve our supply chain organization department in a safe and timely manner. Route driving delivery cannabis products to our retail locations and third-party retailers that carry our products. Cannabis Industry experience is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

\n

• Will be driving Cargo Van vehicles.
• Pick-up, load, and transport finished products directly to the customer
• Follow routes and time schedules
• Package product and operate your delivery vehicle
• Receive feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints
• Collect payments, handle cash and change
• Complete logs and reports
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Comply with driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Assist with store delivery and pick up, loading and unloading, removing dunnage and pallets
• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents, or violations 
• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Diligent, Punctual and Ready to work! 
• Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to handle and maintain cash
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations 
• Able to create, maintain and build professional relationships and rapport

Education & Experience:

\n

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to drive cargo vans 
• Understanding of all driving laws will need to be followed (E.g., weight stations, speed, paperwork recording, etc.) 
• Trucking school diploma or certifications preferred, but not required 
• Proven working experience as a delivery driver in any industry

Requirements:

\n

• Must be over 21 years of age. 
• Valid California driver's license with 0 points, no accidents in 3 years. 
• Clean driving record 
• Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday. 
• Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed. 
• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer. 
• Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time. 
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool. 
• Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
