Our challenge

We are seeking a highly experienced React Developer with expertise in building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate is proficient in React and has a solid background in backend development with Node.js. Familiarity with modern testing frameworks, containerization, and microfrontend architectures is a plus.

Additional Information:

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with the law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $105K to $110K/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain complex React-based web applications.
  • Write well-structured, efficient, and reusable code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Implement unit testing using tools such as Jest, Vitest, etc., to ensure code quality.
  • Integrate frontend components with backend services built with Node.js (Nest.js, TSOA).
  • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in developing component-based UI React applications.
  • Proficiency with Unit Testing such as Jest, Vitest, or similar testing frameworks.
  • Strong experience in Node.js Development with backend frameworks like Nest.js and TSOA.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Experience with Backstage for developer portals or plugin systems.
  • Understanding of Microfrontend architecture and implementation.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Proven experience in building large-scale, production-level applications.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services.
