What Youll Be Doing

• Test raw materials, solutions, and components for bioburden (total plate count and spores)
• Operate lab equipment such as laminar flow hoods, autoclaves, incubators, and other equipment
• Clean, prep, and sterilize laboratory equipment and supplies as needed for testing
• Review samples, log samples, and enter data into computer databases (LIMS)
• Responsible for general housekeeping of laboratory and test suites
• Sustain a clean and safe work environment applying 6S principles

What Youll Bring

• B.S. degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related science
• Minimum 1 year experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry preferred
• Computer literate / knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation
• Good documentation skills and knowledge of GDPs (Good Documentation Practices)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and microbiological testing per FDA, cGMP, GLPs and USP
• Familiarity with LIMS (or equivalent system) and TrackWise
• Mentor to Quality Lab Technician (QLT) positions
• Effective communication with supervisors and peers
• Experience implementing general microbiology procedures

Estimated base salary: $64,000-$88,000. Compensation may vary by location, skills, experience, and market data.
