Youll provide therapy for individuals facing challenges such as trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and more. Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual or family therapy sessions tailored to client needs via telehealth or in-person .
- Complete all required documentation, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in a timely manner using an electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and support clients holistically.
- Participate in agency training, supervision, and continuing education to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on best practices.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and agency standards.
Qualifications
- Education : Masters degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Licensure : Active State of Maryland license (LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT, etc.).
- Experience : Previous experience as a mental health therapist is preferred but not required.
- Skills :
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with clients and colleagues effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage documentation and caseloads efficiently.
