Provides comprehensive administrative secretarial, reception, and clerical support for Carter Child Development Center, to include scheduling and time management, staff coordination, documentation and correspondence, and relief of classroom teachers, as necessary.
Essential Duties:
1. Must possess Daycare Administrators Credential.
2. A minimum of 2 years Childcare experience in a licensed facility is required.
Facilitates record-keeping activities as assigned, which include attendance and documentation.
Assists with supply inventory and purchasing activities as assigned.
Provides appropriate child supervision, in accordance with Carter Day Care Program guidelines.
Assures child safety and appropriate hygiene.
Assists with meals and snacks as assigned.
Assists with documentation, record-keeping and audits as assigned.
Communicates in a thorough and timely manner with parents regarding day care child/children’s progress, behavior, needs and related information.
Assists in procuring and maintaining physical resources.
Assists in training and mentoring day care assistants as needed.
Assists Director with daily operation of Carter Day Care Program and may serve as interim in the absence of the Director.
Exhibits appropriate interaction with day care children and Boys Ranch residents.
Provides age-appropriate lessons, recreation and learning experiences for children in care.
