Class Description The purpose of this class is to assist the CCBC Gallery Coordinator in the handling, installation, lighting, and deinstallation of artwork and the maintenance and monitoring of the CCBC galleries. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in art or related field. Master of Fine Arts preferred. One year experience in art-related field that includes exhibitions, fabrication, woodworking and painting. Art handling experience preferred. Positions Located on the Essex, Catonsville, and Dundalk campuses Class Specific Essential Duties Assist with Galleries exhibitions. This includes: Preparing gallery spaces Patching, painting, and preparing walls. Receiving and unpacking artwork and completing condition reports Constructing shelves and pedestals Consulting with curators Installing lighting and deinstalling exhibitions Preparing galleries for subsequent exhibitions Monitoring the Galleries when open to the public Benefit Summary CCBC Part Time Benefits At A Glance Supplemental (Retirement Annuities) 403(b) and 457(b) Tax-sheltered annuities – 403(b). The savings limits are combined for the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions. Deferred Compensation Plan — 457(b) offered through VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. The 457(b) salary reduction authorization form is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/Human Resources Forms. Parking: Free.
